The room is named for Louis de Buade, Comte de Frontenac et de Palluau, Governor General of New France.

Situated at the front of the house, this large room features a beautiful bay window along with three stained glass windows depicting birds. The room has original crown moulding as well as a very large original ceiling pendant around the central light fixture. A 4-star spring-mattress futon serves as an extra bed, or seating when not required..
