Gingerbread Manor is located on Avenue Laval, often called the prettiest street in all of Montreal, right in the Plateau Mont Royal neighbourhood. Steps away from the famous Square St-Louis (locally called Carré St-Louis) and the pedestrian street, Prince Arthur. The Project for Public Spaces has called the Square St-Louis “…the closest thing to a European neighborhood square you’ll find this side of the Atlantic.” Just across the street from the far end of the park is the Sherbrooke Metro station and the 24 bus line runs along Sherbrooke street to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. A number of films as well as some of the Just For Laughs Gags are filmed in the neighbourhood.
